Dick Weinberger, PhD, CPA

Dick has over 30 years experience as a multi-disciplinary financial and management executive with concentrations in business consulting, financial forensics, litigation support, and business valuation. He has exceptional cross-functional business expertise with experience in start-up, high-growth, mature, and turnaround environments. He was the founder and principal of a CPA firm for 18 years, providing a diversity of high quality services to a wide range of clients. After a successful sale, he then held leadership roles as the chief operating officer and chief financial officer of various business entities. His background encompasses working with hundreds of businesses in sectors such as retail, wholesale, professional practices, insurance, real estate, oil and gas, publishing, and internet marketing just as examples.
He holds a PhD in organization and management, an MBA in management, a BBA degree cum laude in accounting, and a BBA degree in marketing. Dick is an adjunct professor for several universities, has been a frequent speaker, and has taught numerous continuing education courses for professionals. He holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of CPAs, the Forensic and Valuation Services Section of the AICPA, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Forensics CPA Society, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), The Institute of Business Appraisers, International Association for Asset Recovery, Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts, and the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
Ashton Weinberger, JD

Ashton brings to the firm a background in law and real estate working in commercial real estate sales, leasing, and development. He has negotiated leases and contracts ranging in all dollar amounts. His concentration is business valuations and related research in addition to theoretical and practical support in the areas of financial forensics, litigation support, and general business consulting. He holds a BA degree in business and political science as well as a JD degree. The combination of his background and experience brings a well-versed and different perspective to the company that is invaluable in the services being provided to a diverse client base. He holds membership in a number of professional organizations.
